Celebrities Going to Jail
Friday, August 24th, 2007It seems there’s never a week that goes by that you don’t hear about a celebrity going to jail. It’s like a revolving door of celebrities going to prison. This morning I heard that Lindsay Lohan is going to prison for 1 day and doing 10 days of community work as Nicole Ritchie is leaving prison.
Aren’t you tired of hearing on the news about all the celebrities going to jail? I mean there’s many ordinary people who go to jail for these crimes or minor offences, yet you never hear about it on the news, nor should you! On the other hand, every time a celebrity does something wrong, news organizations pounce on the story to profit from it. It’s a great way for them to boost their TV news ratings and profit from another person’s misfortunes or fuckups! Give celebrities a break. Their lives are difficult enough as it is! I wish I had their problems, too!
In my opinion, I’m really tired of hearing about the rich and famous and their so-called misfortunes. There are plenty of more important newsworthy stories to report about, but this is only my opinion!
