Gia was the first movie that I recall watching with Angelina Jolie in it. This movie came out in the late 90s (1998). It was an excellent movie and I think it was the film that propelled her into stardom. Gia is about a model by the same name who, at the beginning, was just an average girl next door. She is introduced into modeling and quickly becomes famous. Unfortunately, she cannot handle her sudden rise to fame and stardom. She gets addicted to hard drugs and her modeling career quickly falls apart. She becomes a total mess!
